A tourist card (FMT) is available when arriving to the airport for visitors who intend to stay in México less than 180 days for the purpose of tourism in Mexico or 30 days for business. This service is available to citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Island, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Other people must contact a Mexican consulate in order to find out the requirements for citizens of their country. Sometimes the Mexican immigration officers request the tourist to show a round trip ticket and economic solvency.
